Students for Egypt family at Sohag University organized an educational symposium entitled “The Role of National Projects in Achieving Sustainable Development Goals” in cooperation with the Governorate Culture Palace, in the presence of:
Dr. Hamdy Hassanein, Dean of faculty of Graduate Studies and Environmental Research and Director of the Center for Sustainable Development,
Dr. Ghena Abdel Nasser, Dean of Faculty of Nursing, Dr. Alaa Ghaleb, President of the Students for Egypt Family, Ahmed Saber, Director of the Palace of Culture, and Hanan Mohsen, Director of the Children’s Culture Palace, in the glass hall in the old university campus.
Dr. Hassan Al-Noamany, President of the University, said that the Egyptian state, undrt the leadership of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, has succeeded in implementing a number of national projects, sponsoring them and providing the necessary investments for them, with a trend towards attracting investments from the national and foreign private sector, which in turn leads to attracting human energies and diversifying areas of development, in order to achieve the goals and vision of Egypt 2030 for sustainable development.
Al-Nomany said that the symposium dealt with educating the students the great national projects implemented by the Egyptian state, including the Decent Life Project, road and bridge projects, and the new cities (the New Administrative Capital – Galala – New Alamein), the nuclear Dabae project, black sand factories, solar energy farms, and greenhouses, Toshka project, the elimination of slums, and other enormous projects.
